Tea details
The two Japanese products listed on our website are Yame Ryokucha and Ukiha no Yamacha. Yame
Ryokucha history stretches back 600 years in Yame City, and it has subsequently been awarded the best
tea in Japan for the last 20 years. In addition, the producer of this tea was also awarded the Agriculture,
Forestry and Fisheries Minister's Award in 2022.
The Yame Ryokucha flavor has a very distinguished feature and is well-known as sweet, strong and very
tasty (umami).
Ukiha no Yamacha is the product of Ukiha-city. Ukiha is one of the 100 cities in Japan which have been
selected as “the forest of the water source”. These tea leaves are grown and harvested in the mountains
above Ukiha with their unique rich soils, and pure natural mountain water which gives this tea its exceptional
