Origin
This green tea is grown in Yame City, which is located in the south of Fukuoka prefecture, Japan.
Flavour
It has a very distinguished feature and is well-known as sweet, strong and very tasty (umami).
History
The tea making was started 600 years ago in Yame City and it has been awarded the best tea in Japan for the last 20 years.
The producer of this tea was also awarded the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister’s Award in 2022.
How to Prepare for Cold Tea
Put tea bags (one or two depending on how strong you like your tea)
Pour 1L or 1.5L of water in and stir gently
Leave it in the fridge for more than 30 minutes
For Hot Tea
Put one tea bag in a teapot.
Leave it for a few minutes (until it gets to your desirable strength)
Pour into the cup.
